O.K. first question why would you want to go to Tesco in your pyjamas?
Question two, why would you even wany to go out anywhere in your pyjamas? Unless there was a fire of course. Tesco seem to be taking some flack over its latest ban but, I for one applaud the fact that someone is trying to preserve some standards. I know the health & safety thing has reached stupid levels but this is not just about safety,it's about decency and self respect. I don't want to bump into pyjama clad shoppers or bare foot browsers as I pick my salad or cold meat in the chilled section.
If you read Tesco'sTop Five Banned List I am sure most people will have difficulty disagreeing with it.It Is A Supermarket. A Shop.A Retail Outlet. And here is a little list for those who need it.
Bikinis are Beach Wear.
Pyjamas are Sleep Wear.
Bare Feet are repulsive to most especially if you walked to the store.
Bare Torsos are for anywhere other than Tesco's.
So we should all get behind any moves to get standards maintained, maybe we could even get people to dress properly on Friday Nights out on the town well maybe not quite yet.

I am reluctant to show the image in question but, people are outraged by the tasteless use of Myra Hindleys image masquerading as art. Jordan/Katie may well be the "artist's" innocent victim, but you would think she would have some image rights to stop the picture being used. The artist was inspired by the fact that Jordan has been voted the most hated woman in Britain a tag reserved for Hindley so, he decided it would be a good idea to merge the images and voila... art.
Some people may say Katie looks a fright anyway but that is not the point here. It seems anything goes when you are seeking publicity but some things are just plain bad taste. This is one of those things: no artistry required, just bad taste.

Sharon Osbourne has reverted to true type in her comments insulting Susan Boyle. Her "Ugly Stick" & "Gillette Razor" comments on live radio were not only insulting but also cruel and hurtful. Sharon strikes me as being what Americans call "white trash with cash" Lots of money but no class, no dignity, and no sense of respect. She may be entertaining but it is like the older drunken woman at the party who says the wrong thing, wears the wrong thing, and does the wrong thing. Everybody laughs at her rather than with her and agrees she is funny but is glad she is not their mother.
Shame on you Sharon for this cheap shot.

Cheryl Cole has bought Dannii Minogue a pair of shoes for her birthday. Now they are not just any shoes theyare Louboutin's costing around seven hundred pounds ( $1200) These two ladies are rumoured to hate each other, avoid each other on the X-Factor set and generally do not get on. By any standard this is a generous gift and our favourite fashion editor over at The Fashion Police knows about stuff like this and will have all sorts of logical explanations as to why this is significant, relevant and important. I think the entire thing is pure publicity, simple as that. I mean it is a strange gesture don't you think?
Yup its all win in the publicity stakes Cheryl gets more exposure for her solo debut the X-Factor gets a plug and Danni .....gets the shoes .....perfect?

Now let us get this clear pre recording her vocal earlier in the day and miming to it on the live show passes for singing live in Cheryl Cole's mind.
Its a question of time you see,she will sing live just not at the moment in time when the "live" show is aired. You see she wouldn't have time to get changed and prepare herself for the performance and be a judge. Too hectic you see that would be two or three things almost at the same time.
She will manage to wear a nice frock however because it is primarily a singing competition and how you look it is way more important than sounding terrible.
So there you have it,she will sing live, its just that it will be live earlier than the live show, where she will mime live to her earlier live recording.
Glad you cleared that up for us Cheryl.

I am a big fan of Jamie Oliver, going back to his "Naked Chef" days.I like his relaxed style and love his cooking. So watching his American tour has been both educational and mouth watering on occasions. However,in his last outing he was shown shooting and skinning and cooking an alligator. My initial reaction was "did we really need to see that" and it seems to have upset a lot of people. Comments have been swift in condemnation of the chef. I guess we did not really need to see the gory detail but as I thought it through I realised that we were witnessing a normal event in the day of your average Louisiana alligator hunter. Facts are facts we eat animals and in this part of the world that means alligator is on the menu. It does make you wonder if the scenes were shown to invite reaction and publicity. Even so I do not think I,ll be tasting alligator anytime soon.
There are shoes and hanbags as well of course?

For anyone who is interested this week's laundry smell is...Breath of Fresh Air.
So that means I smell like a breath of fresh air and I can only tell you it's a whole lot better than Loganberry and Sea Breeze or even Mountain Stream. The real problem I have with this one is ... well I sort of getthe others or at least know where the fragranceologists (just invented that one) were coming from with sea breeze and the rest but a BREATH of FRESH AIR? Now that's a whole different thing and, as a country dweller I can say that one persons fresh air is another's chicken manure. Remember the farmer who made ice cream with his surplus milk to supplement his earnings from selling eggs and chicken manure? He very quickly discovered that ice cream in his chicken manure was no big deal...however chicken manure in his ice cream was a disaster. So the jury is out on the Breath of Fresh Air fragrance, but as always we will keep you posted.
