Yes I think we can safely say summers gone. With severe weather warnings out for most of the u.k (12/08) it looks like we are all going to get really wet.This shot is from Co.Down where not just the road but the airport was closed. I encountered what I can only describe as tropical rain fall today but in Central Scotland that is not unusual at any time. What is annoying is the way the Media love the bad news and fuel our obsession with the weather with "GHASTLY" "FLOOD WARNING" "STORM ALERT" headlines. Look, the weather is not going to be too good for the next few days...but....there are lots of things you can still do and as long as your skin doesn't let in water you will come to no real harm and may just enjoy yourself anyway. See... better already ??????????
