Every once in a while common sense breaks out. The occasional little thing happens to make me a wee bit less grumpy, things like this.
Chancellor suspends 2p in the pound fuel duty rise(but puts up everything else)
Judge throws out compulsive gamblers case to sue the bookmaker to whom he lost £2 million (he lied to open an account after asking them not to let him)
Britney Spears has had her "pocket money" allowance cut to £750/$1500 a week A superior Court agreed to the amount, to permit her to "enjoy" herself during her recovery( a new low or high?)
Yet another sensible judge has thrown out a case against Marks & Spencer for £300,000 by a man who slipped on a grape in one of their stores.(It was one of those silly slips that could happen to anyone,anytime)
Yes common sense can sometimes break out but clearly not infinitely sensible and not all of the time.
A Police car gets a parking ticket for illegally parking outside the high court in Edinburgh(council say pay up as nobody is above the law...not even the law)
I am sure there are lots of other outbreaks please let me know of any more you hear about.
