O.K I HAVE HAD IT WITH INADEQUATE PARENTS.
Parents are complaining that there is not enough childcare provision as they are having to take time off to look after their own children. A leading childcare charity(why do we need one?) has called for schools to co-ordinate holidays as those with kids at different schools are having to pay for extra care as the children are on holiday at different times. Well that's just awful, did these kids just sneak up on them? Were they deposited by Santa? No, you actively decided to have children, or not to take steps to avoid having children so, Now you have children, and this present predicament you are experiencing is called Taking responsibility for your children. It's what keeps the world going round from the lowest life forms to humans.....THE MUMMIES & DADDIES LOOK AFTER THE CHILDREN.
Now if you decide to pursue a career, or greed, or need forces you to entrust your kids welfare to others that unfortunately is also your decision. Please do not expect the local authority to subsidise you further. Maybe you could try The Daycare Trust they are a charity which is after all exactly what you are looking for.
