BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT (BUT WHERE IS IT) ?

                                     Well here we go again another search to find our most talented people in the U.K. Now I am all for people getting their 15 minutes of fame but is this good quality peak Saturday T.V. ?

Talented they may be but a dancing dog(with human partner) an elderly couple lying on beds of nails and breaking paving slabs over their backs with a sledgehammer, and the now obligatory choirboy with the voice of an angel did not say quality T.V. to me. To be honest I found it all slightly embarrassing  from Ant & Dec feigning concern for the acts, to the sickeningly gushing Amanda Holden who put the final nail into this show for me. So as mentioned here before I just think we deserve better, the talent show format is tired and way past it's sell by date(Opportunity Knocks 1960's) and I for one prefer to be entertained by professionals  thank you.(I feel the same about hairdressers & dentists)
